So far I have tried numerous boxes. Here are my favs:

MX3
Minix 8-h
M8 as long as you update to a good firmware
The Matricom Q works fine but remote is a little finicky
If you are being cheap Matricoms MX works fine.

I don't know those boxes but also own a Fire TV and love it with the Kodi installed, works great and you can have it all.

Have you tried admin?

Cheers!  ;D

The Amazon fire runs very smooth specially while scrolling through the menu. I personally have one upstairs as the wifi seems to have better reach then some of the other boxes.

Has anyone tried the 4k Mbox? It runs the s82 chip set at 2.0 ghz with the Mali gpu, 2gb ram and 16gb flash. How does it compare to the others out there?

I found that the remote is unresponsive at times so I replaced it with an airmouse and couldnt be happier.

I currently have two of Matricom's G box Q. So far both are working fine after 4 weeks of setting up with good repos.

The only things that suck about them are the remotes, slow firmware updates, and they're currently android only. Other than that, they
do a great job of streaming and both are using wireless connections.

I'm currently looking into a few boxes with the h.265 codecs, if anyone knows of the best ones with h.265, your insight would be appreciated.

Update 06-19-15

Latest Update.

After a few more weeks, I've started to see some buggy actions of the matricom boxes.

I've had a few failed startups with the boxes, where they come on and light up, but the tv screen is blank. I simply press the power button on the remote, then the ok button to shutdown the box when/if this happens. After powering it back on, the box usually works normal again.

Have also had a few glitches with the graphics chip since the video would go out, but not the audio while watching Vevo vids. The only solution was to shutdown the box and reboot again.

So, yeah these boxes have their issues, but they are 90% reliable so far. I believe a good firmware update could fix most of the issues, but who knows if that will ever come. Matricom is extremely slow at getting out stable firmware updates.

I haven't seen anyone mention the M8S. Quad core S812 with an Octo-core Mali 450 gpu. Its a beast, but I've been searching for something better for my second box.

I have tried several. I sell the lesser ones to other people after I load the best addons. My favorite box is a m8s from diaotec  quad core rk3288 with cortex a17. It came with finless bob rom and I love it. I have purchased over a dozen android boxes and even tried raspbery pi 2 but this box is by far the top performer. Sorry to say it is no longer available.
